The Chief Scientist and the Chairman of National Board of Research and Innovation at the General Assembly of University Rectors
The Chief Scientist and the Chairman of NBRI participate at the General Assembly of University Rectors presenting the new governance system for research and innovation. During the meeting, the Chief Scientist outlined the significant role that Cyprus Universities have to play in developing scientific excellence, as well as in educating a young generation that will possess the skills and abilities required by the workforce of the 21st century. A major challenge of the new governance system will be the transformation of a significant part of the high-quality research implemented within our Universities into innovative products and services and into tangible benefit for the national economy and society.
