EFEVRE: – Chief Scientist Visits EFEVRE: Discussing the Future of Lab Automation in Cyprus.

As the Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation, and Technology, I recently visited EFEVRE, an innovative company dedicated to revolutionizing the life sciences through automation. It was a pleasure to engage in an insightful conversation with their CEO, Dr. Dimitris Kyriakou.

During our meeting, Dr. Kyriakou briefed me on the company’s mission to automate and streamline lab procedures, enhancing outcomes for businesses and research centers. Their cutting-edge solutions, such as liquid handling stations with heating and cooling capabilities, automated centrifugation, and advanced storage solutions, are designed to save time, reduce errors, and improve results, enabling scientist to benefit from up to 80% reduction in time.

It was rewarding to see EFEVRE’s leadership team’s vision for the future, particularly their innovative AmGel device, a fully autonomous, GPT-4 enabled system designed to eliminate human errors and generate more accurate data. This aligns perfectly with our goal of positioning Cyprus as a leader in global research and technology.

Dr. Kyriakou and I discussed the importance of setting new standards in laboratory automation and the potential for Cyprus to become a hub for research and innovation. Focusing on the monetization and commercialization of their groundbreaking technologies. We had the opportunity to discuss how the evolution of EFEVRE’S AmGEL product into a product platform can help create powerful monetization network effect.

Dr. Kyriakou expressed his gratitude towards the Research & Innovation Foundation (RIF) for their continuous support. He stated, “We are deeply thankful to RIF for their support, which has been instrumental in our growth and success. Having the Chief Scientist visit us and offer his insights and assistance is invaluable. His dedication to fostering innovation and being always ready to help is truly appreciated.”

Thank you, EFEVRE, for your warm welcome and insightful discussions.
