Economic Ideas Forum 2019
Skills, Sharing and Start-ups in the new Digital Economy were discussed at Panel 3 during the 10th Economic Ideas Forum 2019 organised on Tuesday, 19th of March 2019 in Nicosia.
During panel discussion, the Chief Scientist Kyriakos Kokkinos underlined the need to develop an ecosystem for start-ups in Cyprus in order to allow them to flourish and give back to the society and the economy. He, also, pointed out the necessity for the exact sciences and humanities to come close, in order to address the tremendous moral dilemmas generated at the present time by the impact of technology on the society.
EIF 2019 was organised by Wilfred Martens Centre for European Studies in collaboration with Glafkos Clerides Instutute and hosted representatives from the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, as well as distinguished speakers, panelists and guests from all around Europe.
