Presentation of the National Research and Innovation Strategy Framework 2019-2023

The Chairman of the National Board for Research and Innovation, Prof. Philippos Patsalis, presents “INNOVATE CYPRUS” the new national R&I Strategy Framework for the period 2019-2023, during an event at the Presidential Palace, in the presence of President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades and other governmental officials. The event was attended by various representatives and stakeholders from the Cyprus R&I ecosystem.

According to the President of the Republic, through a series of reforms the Government addresses the goal of creating new productive sectors for the economy, based on research, scientific excellence, innovation, technological development and entrepreneurship. Moreover, the President expressed his support to the Board and other institutions of the new R&I governance system in the implementation of the strategy, and welcomed any future suggestions contributing to the creation of fundamental conditions for the success of the R&I system.
